How does it work? Simply scan your current glasses using your smartphone or laptop camera, along with a standard-size magnetic card. The app will then generate your sphere power, cylinder, axis, and pupillary distance (PD).
Worried about accuracy? Rest assured, our results have undergone rigorous clinical testing and have been proven to be as precise as traditional lensmeters and PD meters.
The Liingo Rx Reader app is suitable for individuals who meet the following criteria:
- You are over the age of 18 and in good health.
- Your vision is stable and you are satisfied with your current prescription.
- Your prescription is for single-vision lenses.
- Your sphere measurement ranges from -6.00 to +3.00.
- Your cylinder measurement does not exceed -2.50.
Please note that the Liingo Rx Reader app cannot accommodate progressive, multifocal, or bifocal lenses. Additionally, prescriptions including a prism measurement, individuals taking vision-affecting medication, or those with eye health conditions are not eligible for use.
It's important to emphasize that the Liingo Rx Reader app does not replace the need for regular eye exams. We recommend scheduling an eye exam every 1-2 years, even if you are not experiencing vision issues. The Liingo Rx Reader app is designed to assist during the intervals between exams, when you simply need to confirm your prescription or order new glasses online.
